MEDICAL DEVICE QUALITY & REGULATORY TRAINING
Give your team the understanding to make quality work.
Processes become effective when people understand the intended result, their responsibilities, and the decisions they need to make. ES³ Solutions provides practical medical-device quality training to reinforce QMS implementation, audit preparation, remediation, and day-to-day operations.

Build understanding. Practice the work. Check the result.
Connect the learning to the work your team performs.
A procedure describes the process. Training helps people understand why it matters, how to apply it, and when to ask for help. We build the discussion around your team’s roles, existing knowledge, and the issues you need to address. Training can stand alone or be included in any consulting engagement.
When this support is useful
- New or revised processes need consistent implementation across the team.
- Audit findings or recurring errors reveal gaps in understanding or execution.
- Process owners need to explain their work and supporting records during an audit or inspection.
- Leaders and staff need a shared understanding of quality responsibilities.
Scope of support
Work defined around your needs.
Choose a focused workshop or a sequence of sessions that reinforces a broader project. Learning objectives, participants, and deliverables are agreed before work begins.
01
ISO 13485 & QMS implementation
Connect quality-system requirements to actual workflows, document and record controls, process ownership, and daily decisions.
02
Internal & supplier auditing
Practice audit planning, interviewing, evidence sampling, writing supported findings, and following up on corrective actions.
03
Regulatory & audit readiness
Help teams understand applicable FDA, EU MDR, MDSAP, and other requirements within the agreed scope. Practice audit coordination, interviews, and retrieval of supporting records.
04
CAPA & root-cause investigation
Work through problem definition, correction, evidence-based investigation, extent of condition, action planning, and effectiveness evaluation.
05
MDSAP preparation
Build understanding of the process-based audit approach, relevant market requirements, and connections between processes and records.
06
Operational quality & leadership
Scope focused sessions on design controls, risk management, validation, supplier oversight, complaints, management review, or quality metrics as relevant to your team.
Questions before you begin
Practical answers. A clearer starting point.
These answers provide general context. The right approach depends on your products, operations, and applicable requirements.
What medical device quality training can ES³ Solutions provide for our team?
Training can address ISO 13485 and QMS implementation, regulatory and audit readiness, internal and supplier auditing, CAPA, root-cause investigation, and MDSAP preparation. Related operational topics can be included where they support the work your team performs. The scope is agreed before materials are developed.
Can training be tailored to our procedures and audit findings?
Yes. The starting point can be an existing procedure, an implementation challenge, an audit finding, or a recurring process issue. We agree which examples and records are appropriate to use and connect the learning objectives to the responsibilities of the people attending.
Who should attend quality and regulatory training?
The audience depends on the intended outcome. Process owners and quality staff may need detailed application workshops. Operations, engineering, supplier management, and other teams may need training specific to their responsibilities. Leadership sessions can focus on oversight, resources, performance, and management review.
Can training be included in a consulting or remediation project?
Yes. Training can be included alongside system development, audits, inspection preparation, CAPA remediation, MDSAP preparation, or team training. It can also be scoped separately. Connecting the sessions to the project helps the team understand and maintain the resulting process changes.
How do we know whether the training was effective?
Define the expected learning and performance outcomes before the session. Depending on the task, useful checks may include discussion, a worked example, observed execution, or review of subsequent records and results. Attendance alone does not establish competence or sustained improvement. Training should address a demonstrated learning need; process design, resources, or other causes may require additional action.
Planning the engagement
A clear scope. Realistic priorities.
The content, delivery format, session length, and follow-up are agreed around the audience and intended outcome. A focused workshop may suit one issue; a sequence of sessions may be more useful for a new system or broader remediation. Remote or on-site delivery can be discussed as part of the scope.
You work directly with the experienced consultant responsible for understanding the issue and delivering the agreed work.
